Tuesday January 11th, 2011: A Chance for Young Designers by Nadine

In the development of the topic Fashion Week, which is currently moving closer in time, I presented the talent award Designer for Tomorrow and the current prize winner Parsival Cserer. This post will be extended by my personal experiences of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2011 and hopefully with great pictures!

Wednesday January 12th, 2011: An upcoming star – Philipp Plein by Lisa

Lisa introduces a young german designer in her post. Philipp Plein, who soon is going to have his own show on Pro7. She shortly described his career and checked out his really expensive online shop. Will he be the new star on the designer’s sky?

Thursday January 13th, 2011: Young Talent Casting Young Talents by Lisa

This post is about Philipp Plein’s current project, casting young designer talents in his new show Fashion&Fame. She connected this talent project as well with the Designer for Tomorrow award, which I wrote about. Furthermore she introduced on of the candidates of the show, to give a short preview of how this show will be.

Saturday January 15th, 2011: Psychology behind two women wearing the same dress by Lea J.

Lea extended her post about two women wearing the same dress focusing especially on the psychology which is going on in those women, when this happens. Fight or flight is mostly the reaction to that, but she depicts that self-confidence would really be the best behavior in this situation. Anyway emotion will be included.

Sunday January 16th, 2011: Fashion on Musical Stages by Elisa

Elisa developed a new topic in our blog, not writing about fashion in common but in a professional manner – the Musical. She focuses on the costumes such musicals as e.g. Lion King have in their show and the great time and effort which stands behind that. This and many other aspects explain the high prices one has to pay for every show and the importance of impressive costumes.

Sunday January 16th, 2011: Princess For a Day by Lisbeth

Lisbeth continued to write about the topic “Where are the boarders of fashion industry?” she had started in her last post. This time she concentrated on Beauty pageants for little girls and their pros an cons.
